What is Convoro?

Convoro (convoro.org) is the AI assistant for small businesses, made by TechMasons LTD in the UK, that answers website chat, WhatsApp messages and social media comments, takes booking requests and captures leads. It also auto-posts AI images and videos, places outbound AI phone calls and finds new prospects with Auto Outreach.

How does Convoro work?

You add your website and Convoro scans it, including up to 3 PDFs it links to, such as a menu. You can also paste text, upload a PDF or a photo of your price list, have Convoro look up your Google Business listing and, on Growth and Pro, let it read social accounts you connect, such as your Facebook Page and Instagram. It turns what it finds into services, prices, hours and branches that you can edit. That one business profile then powers your website chat, WhatsApp and comment replies, so the answers match on every channel.

Which plan includes which channels?

Basic ($49/month) covers website chat and WhatsApp. Growth ($99/month) adds Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube and TikTok: comment replies on the first four (TikTok is posting only), auto-posting to all five, and AI images and video. How does the free trial work?

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You pick a plan and add a card, and nothing is charged today. If you don't cancel from your dashboard before the trial ends, the plan starts and is charged. AI usage during the trial, such as chat replies, images, video and calls, is billed as you go.

How is AI usage billed?

On top of the plan, AI usage is pay-as-you-go: business scans, chat and WhatsApp replies, voice notes, captions, images, video, phone calls and outreach emails. It adds up on your account and is charged to your card each time it reaches $5, including during the trial. Prices are in US dollars.

Does Convoro answer phone calls?

No. Convoro's AI voice agent only places outbound calls, on the Pro plan. When you click Confirm Call on a booking, it phones the customer to confirm, reschedule or cancel it, and it calls prospects in your campaigns. Calls come from Convoro's shared US numbers, not your own number, and each call's recording and transcript are saved. See how the AI voice agent works.

Does Convoro sync with my calendar or CRM?

Not yet. There is no Google Calendar, Outlook or Calendly sync, no live availability check, and no CRM, Zapier or public API connection. Convoro takes the booking request in the conversation (service, date, time and contact details), emails you the details and marks the lead as booked in your dashboard, so you can add it to your own calendar.

Does it reply in other languages?

Yes. On website chat and WhatsApp, Convoro replies in the language the customer writes in. On WhatsApp it can also answer a voice note with a voice note, with native voices for 39 languages. The dashboard and the widget's buttons are in English.

Can I take over a conversation myself?

On WhatsApp, yes: pause Convoro on any chat and reply yourself from the dashboard. Website chats don't have a live takeover yet.

Does Convoro reply to Instagram DMs or Facebook Messenger?

No. On Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube, Convoro replies to public comments and mentions, for your approval or automatically; X mentions and YouTube comments are checked every 15 minutes. It doesn't handle Instagram DMs, Messenger or X DMs. For private conversations, point customers to your website chat or WhatsApp, which Convoro answers.

What is Auto Outreach?

Auto Outreach, on the Pro plan, finds local businesses by type and location from OpenStreetMap data, then contacts them for you. It sends one email per lead, up to 50 a day, from Convoro’s sending addresses under your business name, and replies go to your own inbox. AI calls go to leads with a phone number, up to 20 a day. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can send yourself a test email and a test call before you launch. Read more about Auto Outreach.

Do I need coding skills to set it up?

No. Website chat is one script snippet that you paste into your site, and it works on any site that lets you add a script, including WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace. WhatsApp connects with one button through Meta, and social accounts connect by signing in to each one. See the installation guides.

What kind of businesses is it for?

Service businesses that get enquiries and bookings: clinics, salons and spas, estate agents, studios, consultancies and similar. Convoro's chat is live today on the websites of two US clinics, an online marketplace and a software company. See Convoro by industry.

Is my data safe with Convoro?

Access tokens for your connected accounts are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM), card details are collected and held by Stripe, and the service runs over HTTPS. Convoro is not SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certified. Read how Convoro handles data.
