Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

Convoro (operated by TechMasons LTD) lets businesses connect their Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and WhatsApp Business numbers so Convoro can respond to comments and messages on their behalf. This page explains how to request deletion of the data we hold, including any data obtained through the Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) platforms.

What data we may hold

• Your account details (name, email, profile picture from Google Sign-In)
• Business information you provided (services, hours, locations, pricing)
• Encrypted access tokens for connected Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp accounts
• Comments and messages received from your connected accounts, and the Convoro replies generated for them
• Leads, bookings, and conversation history

How to request deletion

You can have your data deleted in either of these ways:

1. Disconnect and delete from your dashboard. Log in, open the WhatsApp / Social settings, and click Disconnect for each connected account. This immediately removes the stored access tokens for that account. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use the account deletion option in your dashboard settings.
2. Email us. Send a deletion request to support@convoro.org from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the name of any connected Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp number you want removed.

What happens next

• Access tokens for disconnected accounts are deleted immediately.
• Remaining personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of a verified request.
• We will confirm by email once deletion is complete.
• Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, billing records for tax purposes), and anonymized data may be kept for analytics.

Revoking access on Meta

You can also revoke our app’s access directly from your Meta settings at any time: on Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations and remove Tech Masons. This stops any further data access from that account.
